In a world increasingly filled with technology, distractions, mass media, and pressures, the most important knowledge anyone can have is an understanding of themselves.
Know Yourself is dedicated to this idea. Our products teach kids about their own anatomy, physiology, and psychology, because kids who have a grounding knowledge of themselves are better at school, sports, friendships — everything! We believe the best gift you can give your child is the gift of Self Literacy, by putting them on the path to a life-long journey of self-discovery. We will not rest until every child has heard the Self Literacy message.
As a Public Benefit Corporation, we have made social values a core part of our charter. We donate 5% of our annual after-tax profits to organizations supporting local communities, the arts, and education. Whenever possible our products use sustainably produced materials from Fair Trade labor sources. Our Benefit Corporation status allows us to put our mission of blanketing the Earth with Self Literacy ahead of shareholder interests, but we believe the two go hand-in-hand. We use the power of profit and capitalism to fuel our altruistic mission.

I received my BFA in Metal Arts with High Distinction from California College of the Arts and a Masters of Education, MEd. from Cambridge College...
