Wendy grew up in British Columbia, where her sense of adventure and excellence parlayed into a rewarding career in the horse industry. Despite her vast achievements in the equestrian world, Wendy’s innate sense of design and love of architectural beauty were heightened during her global travels. Wendy’s transition to Interior Designer was inevitable and in 1999 Seldom Scene Interiors was incorporated. As president and principal designer, Wendy has been bringing dreams to life for clients the world over for almost 20 years.
Wendy fervently supports the Clarina Howard Nichols Centre for battered women and children and Nantucket Holidays for Heroes for wounded vets.
She believes in the philosophy of Know Yourself. The more knowledge and awareness children have of their bodies and minds, the better equipped they will be to promote their personal health and well-being throughout their lives. Know Yourself has developed an outstanding program to engage, educate and entertain children in Self Literacy at an age-appropriate level.
